PASTOR R. ANTONIO MCDUFFIE

Overseer Pastor R. Antonio McDuffie, a humble servant of the Lord, gave his life to Christ as a young man and renewed his relationship with the Lord in 2004. Overseer Pastor R. Antonio McDuffie is a 1980 graduate of Woodlawn High School, and studied at Frostburg State College. He received his diploma in Biblical studies from Life Christian University. He is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., and a licensed professional Master Barber. Overseer Pastor R. Antonio McDuffie and wife Co-Pastor Duanelle McDuffie have owned Antonio Hair Design since April of 2000 located in the Brooklyn Community. While serving as business owner in the community, he was the President of Brooklyn Park Broncos Youth Organization for over 20 years, mentoring young men on and off of the field. In 2017, Overseer Pastor R. Antonio McDuffie began “Suits and Supper” to empower men in their physical and spiritual well being. Overseer Pastor R. Antonio McDuffie served at Cherry Hill Community Presbyterian Church for 15 years as Elder, Trustee, Evangelist, President of the Men’s Organization, and President of the Usher’s Board.  In June of 2017, Overseer Pastor R. Antonio McDuffie and Co-Pastor Duanelle McDuffie were called by God to birth Empowered Church Ministries (ECM), Assembly of Christ Inc. (AOCI) under the covering of Bishop Leroy McDuffie Sr. They were installed as Pastor and Co-Pastor in July of 2017. In July 2022, Pastor McDuffie was elevated to Overseer in the AOCI order. Overseer Pastor R. Antonio Mcduffie has been united with his God sent partner, friend and wife for over 27 years. They are blessed with 2 sons Antonio (wife Honesty) who is in the U.S. Air Force and Aaron, a Penn State graduate.  They are also blessed with 2 granddaughters Aaliyah and Aria. Overseer Pastor R. Antonio McDuffie believes ECM’s true calling is outreach, to minister outside of the church doors, and to spread the good news of Jesus Christ, with a vision to empower, inspire and encourage all that are in need.Overseer Pastor R. Antonio McDuffie scripture to live by is Proverbs 3:5-6 :Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path”.

CO-PASTOR DUANELLE ‘LADY D’ MCDUFFIE

Co-Pastor Duanelle McDuffie is a true woman of God. She is affectionately known as ” Lady D” and has devoted her time and energy to helping build up the body of Christ. In her youth, she developed a relationship with the Lord, but strayed, and eventually found her way back in 2002 when she renewed her relationship with the Lord. At an early age, she realized that her love for people extended much further than just family, she had a true desire and calling to want to help people not only physically and emotionally, but also spiritually. She was born in Cherry Hill and attended Cherry hill Community Presbyterian church where she served in multiple roles, including Youth Leader, Chair of Outreach Ministry, Church Treasurer, Trustee Board Member, Ordained Deaconess and Elder. Co-Pastor McDuffie has been in the medical field for over 30+ years and is a Registered Nurse that is continually looking to care and nurture others. In 2011, she graduated from Notre Dame University with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and also has a certificate in Forensic Science. She just recently graduated from Life Christian University with an Advance Diploma in Theology & Biblical Studies. Her and her husband (Pastor Antonio) are the owners of Antonio’s Hair Design which has been located in the Brooklyn Community since 2000. In June of 2017, Pastor Antonio & Co-Pastor McDuffie were called by God to birth Empowered Church Ministries Assembly of Christ Inc, under the covering of Bishop Lee Roy McDuffie Sr. and were officially installed as the shepherds of that house. Co-Pastor McDuffie has been joined in marriage to Pastor Antonio for over 23 years and have been blessed with 2 wonderful sons, Antonio (U.S Air Force), his wife, Honesty and and two beautiful granddaughters (Aaliyah and Aria) and youngest son Aaron (Penn State Graduate). She loves music and is currently the Director of the ECM Praise Team as well as the Women’s Ministry and she is also the Assistant for Youth Ministry. One of her favorite scriptures is Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good, to those who love the Lord, to those who have been called according to his purpose.” Co-Pastor McDuffie believes that this journey is just the beginning of what God has in store for her and she is willing to take the ride.
